1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coin PCGS MS62
$1,109
The 1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar was the second issue of the coins after Carson City resumed coining in 1889, and was one of the final years of availability as the mint would suspend all operations after 1893. Although a series high at the Carson City Mint was achieved in 1890, just 3,949 of these coins were later found in Treasury vaults in the 1960s, making it one of the least represented coins from the GSA Hoard.
The obverse of 1890-CC Morgan Dollars comes with an effigy of Liberty. This left-profile portrait shows Liberty with the coronet crown and laurel wreath in her hairs, with a Phrygian cap on her head. There are 13 stars accompanying her effigy on this side of the coins.
On the reverse field of the 1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar is a depiction of the heraldic eagle. This image of the American bald eagle shows the creature with wings spread clutching the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons. This side also includes a wreath of oak and laurel around the bird.

Description
1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coin PCGS MS62
The 1890 Morgan Silver Dollar Coin from the Carson City Mint is a curious specimen in the 21st century. While this date mark represents the highest mintage from the Carson City Mint in the 19th century, it was also the least represented in the GSA Hoard from the 1960s. The 1890-CC Morgan Dollar had the lowest volume within the GSA Hoard, making it harder to find in the 21st century than one might imagine. Right now, certified 1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coins are available to purchase online from U.S.A COIN COMPANIES.

Each 1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar Coin PCGS MS62 listed here is a Mint State 62 specimen. The PCGS assigns this grade to coins that exhibit impaired mint luster and come with several common flaws. These flaws include issues such as small clusters of contact marks, including those present within the primary focal fields, and the potential for hairlines that are visible without the aid of magnification.
